Beth Prendergast’s Story
Beth got a little lonely running her solo practice, so after passing several secret initiation dares, she’s now part of the team at Modus. This experienced corporate attorney, craft beer connoisseur and mega yogi specializes in social enterprise law, which basically means she’s a do-gooder. As an entrepreneur in her own right, Beth’s work helps other entrepreneurs; nonprofit, for-profit and hybrid entities; and investors secure reliable income through positive social change and community impact. See? Not all lawyers are jerks. Modus has nice ones.
In her past law life, Beth was an associate attorney at a nationally recognized boutique firm in Chicago where she helped mission-driven clients harness the power of business to take on some of the world’s most vexing social problems. She holds a J.D. and an M.B.A. with a focus in entrepreneurship from Loyola University Chicago and a B.S.B.A. summa cum laude from Creighton University. She’s also a complete concert junkie and attended 43 shows last summer alone, but who’s counting?
