Colin Carnahan’s Story
For businesses and individuals looking for a legal partner with foresight, Colin Carnahan sees transactional work with 20/20 vision. As head of our Nashville office, Colin provides extensive experience and insight at every turn. Maybe it’s his 18+ years practicing law primarily representing businesses and executives. Or his 20,000+ hours of trial and appellate litigation experience. Or his time-tested belief that the best way to resolve a dispute is to negotiate leverage on the front end to prevent it in the first place. It turns out an ounce of prevention is worth considerably more than a pound of the cure. So if you want to protect what really matters and get your deal (big or small) negotiated like a boss, count on Colin.
Specialties are this guy’s specialty—from major M&A blowups and business divorces to a wide range of entertainment issues (publishing and royalty rights, song stealing, manager and band breakups, contract negotiations for reality TV shows—the works). Or his decade spent in the electronic payments space. Before combining his practice with Modus, Colin managed his own small firm, prior to which he was an equity partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. Colin began his career as an Assistant D.A. in Nashville, Tennessee. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
